Parent Message
Good afternoon. We hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful spring break! School will resume for students and staff on Tuesday, April 7th.
There are 23 school days until exams begin. Students should be taking advantage of RamTime and after-school tutoring to ensure that they pass their classes and receive credit. Students with a final grade of less than 50 will be required to reseat that class.
In preparation for next year, the Craven County Schools Transportation Department is asking all families to complete a Google Form to express transportation needs for the 2026/27 school year. Please be advised that no transportation information will carry over from this year. The deadline for families to submit this Google Form for fall transportation intent is May 31st. Please use the link in the email version of this message to complete the form.
Seniors, please visit the Senior Hub for information on newly added scholarships, including the Havelock Chili Festival Scholarships, Bridging the Dream Scholarship, and the Theta Beta Omega Community & Academic Scholarship.
The 2025-2026 NJROTC Change of Command and Awards Ceremony will take place on April 8th @ 6 pm in the HPAC.
There will be a GSA Meeting on Thursday, April 9th. Please reach out to Ms. Dominique Lee if you have any questions. The group will be doing crafts and getting to know the members.
The Havelock High School Prom will take place on Saturday, April 11th at the Havelock Tourist and Event Center from 8 - 11 pm. Tickets will be on sale for $40 each, during all lunches, from April 7 - 10.
Havelock High School’s RamLight Theatre presents “The Odyssey, A Comedy, Mostly.” There will be three performances: April 23rd @ 7 pm, April 25th @ 7 pm, and April 26th @ 2 pm. Performances will take place in the HPAC. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased online by using the QR code on the flyer attached to the email version of this message, or at the door.
As a reminder, students entering 12th grade are required to have a booster (second dose) of meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MenACWY). An up-to-date immunization record indicating that your student has received all required immunizations is due by the first day of attendance at school. If proof of immunization is not provided within 30 calendar days after school entry, your student will not be allowed to attend school until it is provided, as required by law. Please reach out to Nurse Woods if you have any questions.
