Dear Parent/Guardian:
Progress reports will be distributed on Wednesday. There are only 19 school days until exams begin. Students should be taking advantage of RamTime and after-school tutoring. Daily attendance at school and attending classes on time is essential to finishing the year strong. This week, there are 294 students who are failing one or more classes. Students with a final grade of less than 50 will be required to reseat that class.
We have fewer than 50 yearbooks left to sell and only 6 pages of Senior Ad space remaining. If you are interested in purchasing a yearbook or an ad for the yearbook, please refer to the attached flyer.
Seniors, please check your emails and the Senior Hub for important information. As we move closer to graduation, please make sure you are staying up to date with ALL required deadlines. Failure to complete required forms or meet deadlines may result in delays or affect participation in graduation activities. If you are planning to attend the Senior Field Trip to Cherry Point, you must complete the required form by tomorrow, April 20. The information collected is necessary to secure base access. If the form is not completed by the deadline, you will NOT be permitted to attend the trip.
There are several scholarships still available. New additions include the Federation of Colored Women’s Clubs, Environmental Scholarship, and Allied Van Lines Military Scholarship. Please visit the Senior Hub for more information.
It is not too late to order a cap and gown. Please refer to the attached flyer for more information.
Seniors: Decision Day is upon us! This event will take place on Friday, May 1st, during your lunch period. If you do not have a lunch period, you will be dismissed early from 2nd period to participate. A station will be set up in the Media Center, and a photographer will be there to capture your moment as you sign for your post-secondary plans! Don’t forget to complete the Google Form that was shared with you so we have the correct information to properly celebrate your success. Let’s celebrate your next chapter!
As a reminder, no outside food is permitted in school. This is a district policy.
Parents, please complete a stakeholder survey to provide feedback regarding the NC proposed K-12 math standards.
